Susan Sutliff Brown, PhD is a professional private editor, writing coach, and book doctor of critically acclaimed fiction and memoir.  She brings thirty-five years of teaching college creative writing and twenty years of private book editing to her sold-out workshops.  In addition, as a published James Joyce scholar, she offers a working background in literary history and introduces writers to the techniques used by the literary masters.  Her workshops focus on combining literary fictional techniques with the devices of popular fiction to create a new genre:  a deeply profound book that keeps readers up all night. 

Paul Bloom studied Chinese Philosophy and History at Harvard and Columbia Universities.  For the past 30 years, he trained in classical Qigong with Chinese master Kwan Sai-hung, Tibetan Buddhism with Gelek Rinpoche and Prof. Robert Thurman, and Zen Buddhism with Roshi Joan Hallifax and Kazuaki Tanahashi.  Mr. Bloom has conducted qigong workshops at the Omega Institute, Rhinebeck, NY; Tibet House, NYC, and taught at Buddhist retreats at Upaya Zen Center, Santa Fe, NM.; Jewel Heart, Ann Arbor, Mich.; and Menla Mountain Retreat Center, Phoenicia, NY.  He presently teaches weekly classes throughout the Hudson Valley and in New York City.   Paul’s focus is to present these ancient, time-honored healing and spiritual practices in a systematic, step-by-step fashion accessible to the modern Western person.
